From IMDB: Eve is an eye opener, because of the great sceneries and the tech-no music in the backgrounds, we hear. This movie shows a good aspect on the human body being God's creation and to considerate about it, viewers can earn better respect on the legendary story of Adam and Eve (either if it's true or just a fairy tale, depending on what we believe) from watching this movie. Actress/model Inger Ebeltoft's impersonation of Eve is so good, there's no good word to describe her performance, and I can't imagine having another actress being Eve. This movie to me, comes in really handy for the type of therapy of stress relief. We'd never fell so relax then before from watching this movie. This movie is a masterpiece, God supposedly wanted this movie to be made in the first place!

IMDB User Review: This was my first Gaspar Noe movie I've watched and I have to say I was shocked. I don't mind gore in generally, but this isn't even gore , it's real butchering. For some of you a couple of scenes may be impossible to see and I mean really disgusting. Leaving aside these aspects, the main ideas revealed here and the dialog are quite brilliant. When you are given a strong argument against bringing a new life into the world and the manner in which it is given, you can't stop and take a minute to think about it. The actors did their job well, representing general masks of a handpick few people found at the bottom of a diseased society. The movie is full of metaphors, but I'll let you figure them out. Don't watch it if you want to have a lite, relaxing time.

Plot: It is based on a true story about two Chinese children who are taken in to a Russian, what appears to be an orphanage. They are taken care of, educated, and assimilate into the culture.

This is a troubled period in history, 1940s. Civil war in China, Germany's military expansion across Europe, Japan's entry into the war. The children, all, are innocent to what is to take place; yet, at the same time, they are inclusive, made a part of the war.

The two Chinese children, boy and girl, undergo hardship. The girl, Chuchu, gets taken in by the German army. She undergoes mental, spiritual, and physical torture. Her silent cries go unheard. What this young lady undergoes violates her innocence, her identity, and scars her.

The boy embraces the Russian ideology, the way of life, and wants to defend Russian against German occupation. He, too, is young, innocent, and, in the end also endures a tragedy.

This movie, in so few words, is worth every minute of its viewing. It was powerful.

Plot Summary: The unremitting horror of the brutalized life of a poor orphan is shown in this film. Set in the Hungarian countryside in the 1930s, it tells the story of an 8-year-old orphan who has never known her parents. In a common practice, she is hired out to a farmer for fostering. With tough insensitivity, he takes away her only clothing so that she will not escape, and sets her to tending the cows entirely naked. When she does escape, she is returned to the orphanage, which ships her out to an even more unwelcoming situation.

This film is based on the story which happened in 1984 in Czechoslovakia. The main hero is Marika, 14th years old girl who was by mistake of authorities sent to madhouse for young. Here she founds that wards are terrorized by their tutors. Those tutors are also responsible for deaths of several wards due overdosing of medicaments. Marika tries to escape several times but she is always caught and sent back. She also tries to protect other kids against of tyranny. When she doesn't see a chance how to change the situation she lights fire and the madhouse burns.

It is the end of the movie. However in the 1984 the story continued: 3 tutors were imprisoned for tyranny for 6 months to 1 year. Marika was imprisoned for 5 years (because she caused the fire).
